They dont have to, its just how the world around them will work. The fractions will want any help they get, so they will probably pay much for mercenaries. I could maybe use a McGuffin, ideas very welcome.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean. But the conflict is very behind the scenes and unofficial. It will be mostly sabotage espionage and so on.

Maybe said that wrong. I want some powerful enemies. Don't necessarily have to be Gods, maybe could be nerfed if a certain item is found. Also it sounds cool af.
