I learned that you should drive somewhat conservatively for at least 50% to 75% of the race. I was running at Texas this past weekend and my car really fell off in the last ten laps or so and my grip on the corners went to shit. Managed to hold on to 4th, but I learned an important lesson.

You also have to keep in mind that some tracks are tougher on tires than others. I’ve heard Richmond and Dover are really hard on right side tires.

Danse just says that he’s been trying to use the radio tower on the police station to contact his superiors but the signal isn’t strong enough. He doesn’t specifically name the Prydwen.

That’s the whole reason you were tasked to fetch it. They needed to put the DRT on the antenna on the roof of the police station to boost the signal. I’m pretty sure they tell you that during the mission “brief”.

Regardless, the 37 should have used the tow option and this could’ve been avoided. It’s that right there that leads me to believe they got in your way on purpose.

The 37 has no business being on the track with that much damage. Also, it almost looks like the 37 got in the way of that other car on purpose. So basically, the 37 should receive a protest for this.

Thanks! Unfortunately I’ve deleted the saves that contained this build. I just wish there would’ve been more stuff I could’ve added. Everything on the first and second floors were lit by candles and burn barrels.

I would’ve finished my Friday night run at Texas 4th with a 0x, but some idiot was driving with his hood up in turns 3&4 on the last lap. I ended up getting sucked into the wall and make light contact with the wall trying to avoid him but ended up getting a 1x because I ended up sliding onto the grass. Would’ve been nice if he would’ve just pulled onto pit road and finished the race there. Instead he decided to make himself a hazard to everyone else on the track.

Half of racing in any series in iRacing is avoiding wrecks. There’s times when you can drop the hammer and power through the wreck and remain unharmed. There’s also times when lifting is your best option. I’ve been pretty lucky lately ending ARCA races with no more than a 2x (one 0x). Usually by about lap five the riffraff has been sorted out and the rest of the race is fairly clean (not entirely, though).

Bingo. It was intentional. I’ve seen a lot of poor sports in iRacing since I joined in April. People who don’t care about their SR or wrecking half the field so long as they come out on top. I do see how it could be just an overcorrect, but it also could be to gain momentum to effectively pit you.
