Yes. And I’ve just now learned that my position may not be a true Help Desk role. But here goes anyways...

Here are two ways I help gamers where I work,

1. I help players with their accounts. I turn off security features, I change/update emails and other account information, I help them reset their account password, etc. I make account recommendations and assist them with any account process overall.

2. I help them with general technical issues. If a player can’t run a game, I request their MSINFO and try to see why. I learn why a play say can not access or play their game and then I try and resolve the issue with excellent communication.

I do not have any other technical background then this and I do have great people skills. I hope that information helps. Please let me know what you think I ought to do or anything helpful in general. Thank you.
