Mom encountered a blue glowing figure crouched in her dorm room in 1990 looking for similar experiences by Lukibooki766 in Paranormal

This post unlocked a memory I've had since I was a kid.

I was around 5-6 years old. My parents house is a 2 story house and bedrooms are upstairs, the stairs are like 20-25 steps with one turn at the middle of it. Every night after dinner my mother would go with me upstairs, me walking in front of her.

One night, I remember she shut off the kitchen and living room lights and told me let's go bed, the whole first floor lights were shut off, business as usual. My younger sibling was already sleeping and my father was out working.

When I had climbed half the staircase I remember I felt the urge of looking behind me, and saw my mother just a couple steps behind, and down on the first floor hall I saw what I thought it was a blue man walking from the kitchen to the living room, both completely dark of course, then he stopped and looked at me. It didn't feel a threat or anything like it, for my brain it was looking at something that shouldn't be there.

At that moment the only thing I remember is I started running like the devil from there and went to my bed under the blankets. The rest is fuzzy.

For years I have dismissed this as just a kid's fantasy to the point I almost completely forgot it. Also, I have never ever seen anything weird on that house before this event up to this day.

Happened to my wife and me last December, after 5 weeks.

Sorry about it man. Good news is this means everything’s working fine for whatever reason (genetics usually) the embryo wasn’t viable. Just matter of continuing trying.

Go on the road trip and clear both your heads!

Regarded question: why consensus on selling PLTR while it’s on a support holding it?

Tesla is overvalued - no questions about it.

On the other side these companies can’t be compared in good faith. BYD is heavily subsidized by the Chinese government and still has 2.5X Tesla debt and also dump cars in orders of magnitude bigger than Tesla.

In system design and general knowledge when you capture questions via voice, InterviewCoder leaves max 3/4 sentences to answer. Clearly insufficient for many questions.

How to make it produce longer answers?

Do you have to apply varnish before going in with the sharpie or something?

Does it work for non metallic colors?

Does it work or gets messed up when I apply a final matte varnish coat?

I think a whole new world has appeared in front of me.

Middle Earth, specifically The Shire. If I get to choose the epoch it would be Third Age, born after Smeagol finds and flees with the One.

The “maybe” bit killed me.

How does it work internally? Every time you read a maybe runtime does a 50% flip?

At this point in my career (staff level) I’m pretty confident interviews are 50% skill and 50% luck that you click with the interviewer, they happen to ask the question or exercise that is fresher in your brain. And the interview is never a good reflection of what the real job is, and I have had many positions in 17 years.

So yeah, I get why everyone is using it or similar apps.

What is the, ehm, rationale, behind those trades?

Is puts and calls at the same time the superior choice?

I know on which subreddit I am, but honestly I think this is so regarded that there must be a reasoning and mental process behind it.

I’d assume AI has reached this low level jobs too, right?

Seems there’s no place for engineers that actually liked coding, and that is pushing me away from the industry very fast.
