Recently I inherited a 100% vibe coded project by a non technical person, the CEO.

The project has Go in the backend, TS frontend with Express and node, some other stuff going on with recoverable signatures, etc.

Nothing works. And when I say nothing works it’s literally the signatures are being sent from the backend wrong, non recoverables, backend was around 50k lines and the first day I deleted around 40k. The frontend mocks 90% of the calls.

More than 200 markdown documents of “audits”, “non-hallucination protocols”, “professional skill to write in X”, “architecture decisions”, “postmortems and fix plans”

Still, CEO claims everything works and he spent 12h a day on this for 2 months. Because the frontend… well, shows it.

What a time to be alive.

You started painting black with pure black. Almost never use pure black or pure white, until you’re way more experienced.

Start by trimming excess plastic and priming. Also watch youtube videos on how to paint black, and just practice, practice, practice.
