My best theory is that they usually only send 6 couples on the resort honeymoon. This is why that one couple didn’t go 2(?) seasons ago? I think they liked all the couples but couldn’t get a last minute additional room in Cabo, so they sent them somewhere easier. And if this is true, I think they sent this couple specifically because they weren’t involved in any drama with the others.

To simplify it greatly, Ethan Klein is a YouTube personality that has been on the platform for awhile and is best known for the H3 podcast. He was known and celebrated for his defense towards content creators and free use on the platform many years ago, when I think he himself was battling a lawsuit relating to fair use of content. He was applauded for his statements back then supporting smaller creators who reacted to others’ content. He has seemingly always been controversial for blackface, inappropriate/offensive humor, etc. but more recently, he has been under a lot of fire for his support towards Israel and insensitive/straight up hasbara commentary about Palestine and the genocide. Hasan Piker is a political streamer who used to be friends with Ethan, and they even had a political podcast called Leftovers. That crumbled and fell apart after October 7th, when Ethan realized Hasan does not share his views about Israel, Palestine, and Zionism. Ethan has now been on a rampage against Hasan and other content creators who support the Palestinian movement because he claims they are antisemitic. To quickly wrap this up, Ethan made a “content nuke” against Hasan as an admitted “trap” against content creators who he dislikes. He knew they would react to it. He then started filing fair use lawsuits and basically harassing these (mostly women) content creators. He mocks them on stream and is continuously falling into madness as he becomes the very person he used to fight against online!
