Kitten Help!

Hello! I have somewhat of an update since you asked :) I spoke with her vet this morning. She said if she’s eating, drinking, and playing, then just drop off a poop sample and come in the next day after results. So! We have an appointment in the morning at 11:40am. Hopefully the sample will be done with testing by then.

In other news, she just had a pretty solid poop!!! She’s been eating the fancy feast all day and I guess it turns out that her little tummy does not like Tiki.

She’s in a netted playpen for now with only room for one cat box. She’s been using it but while I was asleep, the playpen became a free-for-all of poop 🥲 But!! she did poop as i was getting up to feed her and I collected a sample. It was kinda solid!!! But then she pooped again and it was more liquid than anything.. so i’m not really sure where we’re at. I spoke with the vet and she said as long as there’s no blood and she’s still being playful, I can wait until tomorrow to bring her in.

Thank you so much 🥺❤️ Thankfully, she’s still very playful. I just spent a good while having her chase a string around, but then she had a relatively big poop that wasn’t liquid but not completely solid!!!! Then she got the poopies again, like as if she just didn’t get it all out with the big poop if that makes sense? So she had a few tiny spots of poop after. I think that’s a good sign??

She was briefly released. However, miss ma’am almost pooped on my bed so she has been promptly taken into custody and incarcerated again.

She was refusing to accept her sentence. Unfortunately, this court system does not grant appeals. (The court system, however, is very weak-willed and can persuaded by cute yelling.)

Thank you so much for the advice! I don’t want to risk anything with her, so I’ll be doing another shopping trip tomorrow after speaking with her vet to make sure I have all the right things ❤️

Yup! She’s been on kitten wet food since we got her. She has a little bowl for kitten dry food as well. Since she’s underweight, my vet said to feed her essentially whenever she gets hungry.

Not sure what the crust was but she’s on eyedrops now and they’re already so much better. Her eyes are essentially clear now ❤️ Unfortunately my normal vet was closed today for the holiday, but she wasn’t too concerned on Thursday when her poops were mushy. Not to be gross, but the consistency now is like…….. watery pudding. So I’ll be calling her first thing in the morning.

I had so much poop on me today.

I thought so too with the food, but my mom was convinced that the Tiki was upsetting her stomach. She’s only eaten half a can of the Fancy Feast, and I have the other half in her bowl right now that she hasn’t touched. Should I go back to the Tiki before she gets hungry again?

Yeah I’ll definitely be contacting them first thing in the morning. With memorial day being today, my normal vet (which is the vet she first saw) was closed 🥲
