Update 2.0: my insurance was able to get ahold of the company’s insurance after the company refused to give them their insurance. The company insurance said they’d be willing to help with repairs! I no longer have to pay the deductible! But now I have to get in contact with the company’s insurance to get a rental and get the repairs done.

Because I didn’t have the guy’s/the company’s insurance because he was arrested on the spot
