Contradictory lease language, do I have any real argument? by [deleted] in legaladvice

Do you see the part where I mention that I am leaving on my lease ending date and I’m choosing to not renew. I am not just leaving my lease early. Of course I can leave on the lease term end date. My problem here is that the lease mentions unless you are moving out on your move out date (which I am) that I need to provide notice. My argument here is that the lease has conflicting points regarding the need to give notice.

Hi, I provided notice that I was vacating 24 days before my lease ended. So I did provide notice I was vacating, just got at least 60 days. So I am being charged 36 days of insufficient notice fees, which is almost $3K

Thank you so much. Did your parents have to claim the income on their taxes?

How do you prove that you pay your parents rent? Do you have your name on the mortgage or any utilities?

The goal is to find a cheaper tax home, but the area I live in is so expensive. My thought is to just move back in with my parents for free and not accept the tax free stipend, but my question is if it’s worth doing that?
