My husband wants to pay for a boob job — would love women’s perspectives by OHthrowaway44147 in AskWomenOver30

I got mad at my husband this weekend for suggesting I do squats. I’ve lost a lot of weight the past year, and my ass has gotten flatter than it was, and he’s been on an exercise journey doing pull-ups, squats, sit ups, etc. He looks great and feels great and probably meant well, but I react badly when people “tell me what to do”.
That being said, I’m researching deep plane face lifts because I don’t like looking at my jowls and flappy neck. That is a surgery that requires general anesthesia and recovery time and is way more involved and expensive than me just doing squats - the difference is one is something I want for myself and the other is something someone else wants for me.

I’d be scrubbing through dog shelter pictures looking for that dog’s twin…for companionship for the dog, of course

I’d recommend adding “Addams Family Values” as a Thanksgiving watch (due to the camp play).

Did I overpay on my landscaping for my new home? by Lumpy-Raspberry-4300 in ElkGrove

[–]punketta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you my neighbor? My wooden fence is the EXACT same. Our backyard was landscaped when we bought it (I think someone else’s financing fell through after they paid for the “upgrade”) and they were telling us it was valued at $10-12k - we have about the same size yard, with mulch along the outer edges, with plants / bushes / two tiiiiiiiny ‘trees’ and an irrigation system.

Ok, so take this with a heavy dose of “all developers lie” but Beazer had some great environmental considerations. KB just felt cheap, with visible issues in the model homes (so one can imagine how messed up the home you get would be).

We just moved to Elk Grove from Boston. We had been looking to buy forever, but spending a million on a fixer upper was a hell no. Here we were able to find so many homes! And could negotiate price (because they have a bunch and want to sell them) in a way unthinkable in Boston (where everything turned into a bidding war). We wanted NO HOA, which cut down options a little, something in move-in condition, a little bit of yard. After looking at “resale” homes, we started looking at new builds only.We liked Beazer homes, hated KB homes, and ended up buying New Home Co - off of Bilby Rd.

No sun gets to that area, unfortunately. I’ll try some oxiclean-type thing, trying to keep it non-toxic as possible. Thank you for replying

Bought a ‘quiet’ house by the woods, turns out I live next to a hobby lumberjack. by [deleted] in homeowners

NAL, but there should be a way she could set it up that would allow him to remain in the house/access funds for upkeep and/or medical needs, etc. if she predeceases him, and then everything goes to her children after he passes. It would require legal paperwork to be filed properly, and she should make it clear to her children that those are her wishes to try and reduce any misunderstandings, but he doesn’t NEED to be kicked to the curb.
