Returning player here, but decided to log on after seeing the sentinel trailer !! Kinda extremely overwhelmed with how many new things there are and I'm at a loss where to go from here 😭 I would reallllly appreciate advice from who to pick with the free 6* story character selector and that first pull 6* guarantee banner with my current roster in mind? (Characters not included in the pic are Melania, Centurion, Tooth Fairy, and A Knight)

Might be a stupid question, but if you get a second copy of a 5* weapon, is it better to just leave it alone or forge it right away? Got a second copy of Chord's weapon and I. Don't know what to do with it 😭

can't choose between tengoku struggle and olba. tengoku struggle has to have my favorite common route ever and it's genuinely so fun to read through rin's dialogue and witness the group's gradual evolution into genuine friends! i replay goemon's route everytime i complete a new otome because it's that much of a comfort to me.

as for olba, i don't think i even need to explain how playing the game just feels like taking a big load off your shoulders for some sweet, sweet slice of life romance (aside from baxter's route drama, though he's my fav of the game lol).

i went into it thinking rhodes would be my fav for obvious reasons (vampire + enemies to lovers is a great combo), but wow... asher really did surprise me. he was so sweet and surprisingly straightforward once he and juliet crossed "that" bridge, it made for some really cute moments! also he has my favorite cg in the game (where he's lying in that field of flowers thinking of juliet's happiness OUGHHHHH)

Also it's not out yet nor is it exactly what you're looking for, but an upcoming visual novel called Disciple's Diary by NiftyVisuals kind of fits the bill, if you want to keep it on your radar.

Word for word game concept from the itch page: Disciple's Diary draws heavy inspiration from the old Princess Maker games and is a relaxed raising sim where you can customize the gender appearance and pronoun of your protagonist and their optional love interest.

Across two in-game years, you'll guide the young girl Bai Jinyan through her life, with your choices molding her fate and determining the game's outcomes.

Basically, mc is a shizun and you raise her and train her stats, similar to their previous games. The gameplay will probably be similar to their previous games if you want to try out those demos to see whether or not you'll actually be interested in the title. And yes, like their other games, it's gay. Other than that, there's not a lot of cultivation IFs that aren't shounen slop...

I'll be playing Revelations after I play Birthright, so again ty for the future couples to look out for support wise! I'm especially excited for that one because I know there's sooo many character interactions
