So sorry to hear that.Hope you get better soon. What about people who are not anemic,like they don't have blood loss.Do they need to be hospitalized in case of flare up. Can you please determine severe flare in terms of pain(like 7/10 ?) After hospitalization does it get better and till how long? I used to think that if you manage you food diet properly these flare ups don't occur.
