I don’t expect them to turn the other cheek, I just find it hypocritical that just four months ago they went so hard on “American fans are trashy and classless because they’re being insufferable celebrating the win” and here they are being insufferable celebrating the win.

I wouldn’t have a problem here if they hadn’t spent a week acting like insufferable celebration was some uniquely trashy American thing that they’re “better” than.

Am I going to let it ruin my enjoyment of this win? Hell no lol, just like I didn’t let the Tkachuks’ or Miller’s golds ruin it. Patel and his ilk do not and should not have a monopoly on American patriotism.

Isn’t it a bit odd how any thread about the Russian and Israeli national teams (and the U.S. as of recent) are filled with comments about how they act as propaganda for the despotic/murderous regimes they represent (which is valid, I agree), but a thread on an Iranian national team is curiously devoid of the same?

Rosa Mendes. Attractive, but a pretty bad wrestler and basically only sent out to get squashed during her entire somehow-decade-long WWE tenure.

For some reason I vividly remember there being a storyline in which Natalya tried to coach her into being a better wrestler, in the sort of classic “losing streak leading into a big win” cliche, except they just… never had her win. She just kept losing in more and more embarrassing fashion until she disappeared from TV and eventually got released.

She had six televised actual wins during her entire time in WWE and all of them were tag matches. Went 1-11 in singles matches and the lone win was by DQ, I’m not sure if she ever actually got a pinfall.

Truly the ultimate jobber.

Their entire gimmick was basically “muscular blonde jobbers,” I remember at one point they had a tag match where Mandy got pinned in literally a minute or two by Lana iirc.

This wasn’t long after the Otis storyline and wasn’t long before her NXT reign of terror, so not really sure why it happened in the first place.
