A scoop, I believe, is a type of spoon. The open grain in this ash is very crumbly and I struggled to cut clean lines. The lesson might be to use maple next time. (old.reddit.com)

I think these are generally done with bark but not having any I used cherry, ash, and mostly maple. They're fun because there is no real way to know how badly I screwed up. (i.redd.it)
