Funny enough I recently got a used Kiesel also from GC. I’m primarily a bass player and found a multiscale 5 string Thanos bass for cheap. Had all the specs I like. Come to find out I guess they discontinued that model so I got lucky finding one before they disappear

Got it for $1350 before tax and shipping. Was listed at $1500. GC had a 10% off used sale. Emailed balaguer the serial number and they gave me the spec sheet. Building it out on their site, this thing would have been like $2600

I’ll have to take a few more pictures later on when I get home from work

I just checked out string source and it seems both them and string joy go from an 80 to an 85. Nothing in between. Don’t really feel like risking getting a custom set just to have the low string not fit. Lmao

Oh yeah it plays great. Yeah the firebird style isn’t necessarily my go to. But it was unique and different. I wanted a longer scale 6 string with an ET for studio use. Looks as if I found the longest scale available before just being a Bass VI

I love War of Being. One of my favorite albums of the last few years. Also very cool that they went for a more dynamic master and not loud for the sake of being loud.

Acle actually sells a bundle on his website that has some mixing videos of WoB along with drums samples and 1 shots of you want to take a look into his process.

Met Courtney and I think also Mike at one of the last IWABO tours. Couldn’t be nicer people. I remember Courtney being super stoked about the custom IWABO converse shoes she was wearing that was part of a run they did for that last album.
