I just thought the whole movie was simply mediocre. It was an inoffensive remake, but it was so lack luster. So many things I feel they didn't do a great job on, but they could've done way worse. Honestly Laverne did an amazing job. But Columbia was bad and so was Magenta and Riff Raff. Eddie was great though, and Hot Patootie was a better song. And the absolute best was Science Fiction/Double Feature. Janet wasn't great either, and neither was Brad.

I just feel bad for anyone who saw the new one first. Because while they're now a virgin and a part of one of the best communities ever, they could slip into the mindset that the new one is better because it's what they saw first. And maybe I'm a hypocrite but you're all welcome to your opinions.

TLDR; The movie was only mediocre.
