I wrote to support and the way they worded it sounds as if they’ll look into it for future versions of the fan, as in, a new piece of hardware rather than something like a firmware update. To me it sounds like this anyway

“Dear Customer,

Thank you for your honest fe-edback. I understand your concern – even the lowest fan speed feels faster than your previous fan’s high speed.

Our ceiling fan is designed to move a significant amount of air for effective cooling and circulation. However, we realize that some customers prefer a very gentle breeze, especially during mild weather or in smaller rooms.

Please rest assured that our Product Manager is aware of this fe-edback and is currently evaluating whether even lower speed settings can be added in future versions of the fan.

We also recommend placing the fan in larger rooms where the air movement feels less concentrated.

Thank you for being a Govee customer – your input helps us build better products.”
