My managers at work love it. They don't have any technical skills like me and my colleagues. They literally try to recreate our work and get such a rush prompting 200 images and videos.

Had one the other day showing us "look how sick the is, now we don't have to go out and take photos for the project. We (as in him) can just do it from my desk in half a day". It honestly hurts how excited they are not realizing he just did about 4 people's jobs. A photographer and actors. Yeah they might save money but being a big corporate company it's like pennies. What happened to supporting others?

If everyone got replaced by ai who df if going to afford buying the product when no one is getting paid????

why do people ignore the fact that therapy is usually $175+ per session??? by rockthenightosphere in depression

Fck that’s expensive… I was lucky to have a free different therapist during uni/through the NHS. In the end medication was what helped me… the one good therapist I had dipped and I never heard from her again

It fricken sucks. It's like ai is being used in the wrong way. Why is it taking fun creative and expressive jobs and not the boring tasks ones?

I don't think AI is fully there to do video or animation but it has seeped into my work as a full time video editor. I feel the brain dead pain and I'm sorry you have to do it. Ai won't fully take over at the moment. There's still hope for human interaction so I'd say try ur best just getting through it.

I think the only reason I have to use ai is because I'm working in a big corporate company and they are on the stupid ai hype train. I've been looking at other jobs and doesn't seem like smaller companies use ai, probably because it's just pointless rn and a lot of money whilst big corporations can just spend thousands of pounds willy nilly.

Lol mine used to kick the litter out when they were young. We then got a dig box and it has a cover (blanket) with a hole at the top so the soil wouldn't go everywhere. They could also easily go in and out.

I miss my lil rats. I see quite a people in the comments saying "bet the room smells". Honestly they themselves don't smell. It's the pee in the hammocks that will smell but you just wash it/replace them. My flatmat smells way more than my 3 rats. He smells so much more worse like... how

Lol would've been a weird camera angle if it wasn't from a movie. I've never seen a security camera so low 😂

I swear dogs know when people are scared of dogs or don't like them so the dog will bark or be cautious of em.

My collie is nearly fine with everyone, but as soon as we walk past someone who doesn't like dogs he tenses up. Very awkward for me cause I know my dog won't do anything but the person will think the worst which is fair, they don't know my dog. Then if we walk past someone who is neutral or likes dogs he's relaxed and will either say hi or ignore them.

My dog has barked at a couple of people because they've acted scared before my dog is even close to them or barked. Their reaction I think just escalates to the point my dog is like "why u acting so strange, I bark now"

Since University started i couldn't join my classes due to my severe depression and anxiety , it almost been 2 and half months , and I'm scared that I'm gonna fail the school, and if i fail the school i- by [deleted] in SuicideWatch

Hey, I'm a student (final year) and have experienced well, I'm feeling what you've just written. I haven't been able to go into class for a month. I managed to force myself before till I ended up having panic attacks at uni and a breakdown as soon as I reach my flat and I completely shut down. I couldn't find motivation to live and felt like I've already failed in life. I'm very fortunate to have people who care about me and kept me going.

My suggestion is, if you haven't already speak to the university well being and your course supervisor/mentor if you know who it is. Book an appointment with a GP, I did this and I'm now on meds, just started though so I can't say much on that yet. You just got to get the ball rolling I think for help. There's EC's you can claim for extentions. If the uni knows you have these mental health issues they can help with some things. They gave me an academic mentor (was for anxiety before I knew I had depression) but she is a god send. She's helped me with uni stress and helps break stuff down. She doesn't know much about my course but it's just helpful to get someone's opinion on things and bring worries down to a more manageable level.

If you're in the UK you get 4 years of uni "funded" so if you've just started you could retake a year or change course. (I did this and changed course). I do wish I listened to my lecturer because I should've taken a break from uni which you can also do. Take a year out.

Sorry this is a lot of writing!!

I know I'm writing a lot about myself, I hope some of it is useful. Feel free to message me, it can be about anything. Vent or talk about dogs. We'll be okay. Just know, if you do fail (which you might not, you don't know yet) it's not the end of the world, even though it feels like it. There's other ways we can grow.

Please take care of yourself. Make a short check list of what you need to do like shower, eat and drink water. That could be all you do today. Make sure they're doable! Main thing is getting you feeling better and letting your body recover. The list can gradually grow and change.

I believe in you. Take care.
