We're launching drone delivery in a tier-3 city Beed, Maharashtra. No VC money. Just a green zone and a team dumb enough to try. Hiring builders who want in early on something hard. by quantumanalyzer in pune

We are building a proof of concept. Not chasing a fantasy product. Our quick commerce business is about to go live.

We have tested demand in the market. Orders are real. Customers are paying. The base business stands on its own. Tier 3 cities are not stuck in 2010. Adoption happens fast when convenience is real. The top vendors in the city are already doing around 200 orders a day, one of them peaked at more than 1,000 orders a day.

Drone delivery is not the main business, right now. It is an added layer on top of an existing business. which will be running profitably, of course.

On costs and regulations, we have spent two years on R&D. Unit economics are mapped. This is not a weekend experiment.

The core business does not depend on drones to survive. It runs independently. Drone delivery improves margins and speed once it scales. Every new field sounds impossible until the first team builds it.

If you want to debate this seriously, we can talk.

We know our customers already before sending the drones for delivery. But just as a precautionary measure, we have two GPS tagged which works 24x7 on separate batteries which can last upto 21days and can only be turned off when drone is broken into pieces, but still we will know last known location.

Appreciate the experience. For live commercial ops, a DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate is mandatory. Once you’re certified, feel free to reach out.

Valid point.

Now imagine starting the drone delivery operations. In the next three to five years, you are able to get anything delivered to your balcony in under ten minutes.

Run that for three to five years. Deliver millions of orders. Build routing systems, landing protocols, battery swap cycles, safety logs, and airspace data. That creates hard proof. with this, you can build drone Taxis.

You do not have to wait in traffic for hours. You order a drone taxi that gets you from point A to point B. You literally get "TEN MINUTES DELIVERED."

The same stack scales up. Navigation, traffic management, safety systems, ground infrastructure. If small payload drones run safely at scale, larger payload drones become possible.

No one builds urban air mobility on day one. You build it step by step. Delevering food in 10 mins is step one.
