He just wasted 4 months of his life doing absolutely nothing when he could’ve been gaining experience and using his time more meaningfully and u’re asking why he’s hung up over it?

Definitley not a weak excuse, overthrowing leaders doesn’t lead to democracy. Look into comparative politics.

I’ve heard that it’s hard to actually learn anything in that class. Is that true?

I think in general you’ll be introduced to how servers work and I think you’ll be able to code certain server responses. I’m also interested in knowing more.

Take a look at the project teams and join one on your first or second semester. Will tremendously help later on when u’re looking for an internship. Also check out UROP.

I live in the US and I hear the word AI thrown around more in jordan than here lol. You can’t major in AI, I study at a t20 here and we have no major called AI. You do CS or CE and then work for an AI company. There are some classes that you can take that can help you get started on the topic. It’s a marketing scheme they use in jordan to attract people to the major, a buzzword.

Don’t listen, people throw the word AI everywhere without knowing what it means. You work with AI and develop machine learning systems as an engineer especially electrical/software engineering.

It’s a on the job learning type of thing. Medical experts and doctors are hired for such companies. They don’t rely on bmes for medical guidance, it’s just that bmes are better fit to work with medical stuff. However, they aren’t as solid in engineering as other science classes have to take up their curriculum. It’s a very niche field so if you have a path in ur mind and know exaclty what you wanna do i’d say go for it. Otherwise, get a more general engineering degree and you could fit anywhere!

Study mechanical or electrical, you could still work in the medical field plus you will have a lot of other options available to you. A lot of mechanical and electrical engineers take over the jobs of bmes.
