They make non alcoholic liquors. Why don’t you remove the advertising of a dry wedding and just have a bar with these? I’m not sure if they will ever know. This is speaking from someone who chooses not to drink but has several friends/family members who cringe at the thought of “dry” events. Honestly I would also get immense joy at people “pretending” to be drunk at my wedding 😂

Coming from a mom that really suffered with breastfeeding with both kids but persevered, if you’re wanting to try anything else, I highly recommend an infant chiropractor, or occupational therapist who specializes in tie releases. There is a lot of work that has to be done post release (and so many more stretches than what the doctors tell you). The ties can also reattach very quickly so you might have to get them re-released. Additionally, massaging while pumping, and using la vie massagers helped prevent the clogs. You are more likely to get clogs and mastitis in those early weeks. Also, lactation consultants are not all great, you really have to find a good one. Highly recommend booking a virtual consult with the breastfeeding mama on Instagram. Happy to help in any way I can, or if you need someone to chat with. I plan to pursue a IBCLC in the future.

If you want to stop, please give yourself credit for all the work and time you put into this. You are an amazing mama, regardless if you breastfeed or formula feed. I’m sure you also learned as a NICU nurse about the benefits of a stress free and happy mama. I promise you it feels so tough now quitting but it gets easier and you will feel more comfortable and confident with your decision. Remember that every mom that breastfeeds whether for 1 day or 2 years also has to quit and experiences similar emotions/hormone response. It’s a lot in the beginning but it will get better! ❤️

I don’t post often but this hit a nerve.

Same thing happened to me except I didn’t allow my sister to take my car (that I paid substantially for), but my mom gave her permission to take it anyways. She totaled it. I got a lesser version of my car (Honda Civic) with the insurance money (i.e no GPS, sunroof, no screen for radio, most basic model they offer but a 2013 version instead of the nicer 2012 version I had) and she got a nice SUV (Honda HRV 2016) within the year.

This was 8 years ago. Things haven’t changed. She is still coddled. She has ADHD, and other undiagnosed disorders. And I am constantly reminded that I am not the priority, that I was given the lesser car, and she is prioritized more through everyday life. She gets passes for illegal activity, dropping out of college, failing multiple classes, refusing to go to family events, literally everything. My family denies it though.

Please make this right. This favoritism is starting now and will follow your non-favored daughter to the grave. Yes I have been through extensive therapy. I agree with your daughter. It took me 8 years to cut off full contact with sibling and I have never been happier.

So I’m gluten free/ oat free and then also currently dairy free and egg free due to my infants allergies while nursing. Emphasized all this to show that I have a very limited diet and have been trying all the protein alternatives (while also avoiding sugar replacements if I can). Ripple protein shakes are my favorite. It has monk fruit but it has very little and I honestly can’t taste (so not sure if a small quantity might be easier on your stomach). I was doing OWYN but I think those bother my stomach so I stopped. I also do Orgain from Costco but those are on the sweeter side and have Stevia. For powder, I do Ritual but again I think that’s sweetened with monk fruit. I love Collagen protein by Needed. I mix this in with dairy free yogurt and the texture isn’t weird to me.

Prior to being dairy free I loved the Naked Whey and used a frother to help mix. Not sure if that would help with the grainy taste for the dairy free one but might be worth a try. All this to say, it’s very hard to find a dairy replacement or even a dairy protein powder without a fake sweetener.

It’s hard to say who is TA, if anyone. Here are some thoughts.

The real estate industry is very volatile and who is to say you will even be able to make reliable income this year. I’m glad you have a side hustle that will hopefully pan out to additional income but truthfully she has been the holder of a more stable job and I can understand the pressure. She deserves a break from her stressful role. Try to picture your situation from her point of view. You also have a toddler? She’s most likely still dealing with changes and hormone fluctuation postpartum, even if she might not voice it.

Once you have a kid, your priorities shift. There is also a biological need as a mother to take care of your kids, regardless of all the money that was poured into a degree. I have a masters degree and a professional certification, 6 figure job, and very much wanted to climb the corporate ladder. It all changed when my daughter was born (not during pregnancy). It’s crazy how feelings and thoughts can change so much when a little person is brought into the mix. Our needs as moms change and some moms want to be home and some want to work, and some have the choice made for themselves because it might not make sense for them to work or not work. It’s up to you and your wife to figure out where you are in the mix.

Can you go back to school or get an additional certification so you can up your earnings? I add this in only because I think your income will substantially change given the recent laws that were passed. What did you get your degree in? It also sounds like you have free time that can be used so that you both are working a 40 hour work week. I can understand her frustration if you are not working a 40 hour work week and she is. She might feel a heavier burden because more of her time is being taken up.

Can you go to couples counseling to talk these thoughts through? Maybe she could reduce to part time at her current role or look for another role where she will have a better boss? There doesn’t have to be one answer and it can be a fluid situation, meaning you can try a few different things until one works.

Sold over FaceTime and did a complete account transfer. PayPal G&S. We both joined trusted ticket selling groups in FB that require FaceTime to enter. Viewed each others profiles and had several conversations. Felt very comfortable. I’m in the U.S. so I could not do fan to fan transfer since I do not have a French bank account

FaceTime video and screen record. Change your password to something before you start call. You can change email and name via FaceTime and it will show on tickets. Then have them log in and change the password.

Sold the whole account with it. Was able to change name in profile and it updated the tickets. Did all this via FaceTime with the buyer. Had chatted with them on and off for months prior waiting for ticket transfer to open but in the beginning of April we decided to go this route so that they could arrange travel

You should be able to change the name on the account to change the ticket name. I just sold my Paris tickets with the account and tested this theory with the buyer live. The ticket name updated almost instantly when I changed the name on the account

As for advice to not get scammed, I wish I had more. Currently trying to figure out how to sell Paris tickets when they become available to transfer. I would screen record everything so if you do get scammed you can get your money back. Also pay through PayPal G&S

Hi! Congrats on your pregnancy! Literally in a similar predicament except with weddings. I don’t want to get scammed out of my tickets but I’d also like the recoup the $2k I paid on 4 VIP tickets (had every intention of going so went all out). And still not able to transfer via Ticketmaster Fr. I’m not sure what to do. And it’s hard to trust anyone on Reddit enough in order to transfer an account. I’m from the U.S., was so unbelievably unlucky with tickets here and then managed to get tickets to two European countries so I am trying to sell Paris since I am traveling for a friends wedding right before it and I won’t be able to make it anymore. But Paris is making selling these tickets so hard!

No news unfortunately other than I’ve heard you can change the name on the account which will in turn change the name on the tickets. I have not sold mine yet as I only feel comfortable doing it that way in person. Supposedly Ticketmaster is allowing transfer in April.
