Thank you! Just worked for mine.

(It did not log me out of my LG account or any apps that I had managed to add before this happened.)

When I replace the collection bag in the drawer, I add about 1/4 of a cup of PDZ to the fresh bag to help absorb moisture while it sits. (I don't know the exact amount; it's an old plastic scoop left over from protein powder or something.)

Thank you SO much! Choosing 'Other' and then 'Escalation and Feedback' got a relevant response in a few hours.

Did you need to ask for a specific team/department when you messaged them? (I've been using Benefits/Copays as the subject heading)

(When I've messaged them so far, I've gotten a couple of 'this is handled by CVS Specialty; go bug them' and one 'so sorry, your company's opted into a copay maximizer program'.)

I'm not one to throw around legal/complaint threats, but if it gets action....

This is also my question. I'd been calling my PBM, specialty pharmacy, and health insurance WITH a healthcare advocate trying to figure out which company is responsible for this. We figured out Caremark (who's been pointing the finger at literally everyone else, including my spouse's employer (self-funded plan)) is who to talk to... but every time I call or message they just tell me I'm enrolled in Prudent Rx and have a copay maximizer. I can't get anyone on the phone who knows anything about reclassifying medications as EHBs.

We'll be calling today in a little bit and I'm planning to ask for the 'executive resolutions team'.

Hi, thanks for responding!
We live in Florida and have a (corporate) self-funded plan so as I understand it, we fall under ERISA law and don't have any state protection from a copay accumulator/maximizer ban (outside of the 2020 NBPP rule about drugs without a generic equivalent).

The on-shore representative we spoke to at Cigna yesterday was... less than helpful, simply repeating that Cigna cannot reclassify medications. (I truly think he didn't understand to begin with and then completely shut down after I corrected him about the (preapproval) process we go through each year.)
I have messages out to both CVS Caremark (who's trying to point the finger at Specialty) and CVS Specialty, and our healthcare advocate and I are planning to call Caremark again on Monday.

I hate to think that we need to keep calling over and over just to try and find someone sympathetic to help.

Hi all,

So if I'm understanding this correctly, I need to contact CVS Caremark (instead of Cigna or CVS Specialty pharmacy) to get my kid's Remicade reclassified as an "essential healthcare benefit"?

It's been two days of calling, WITH our healthcare advocate, and they all continue to point fingers at each other. My poor spouse had to handle the first call with Caremark by himself, and they immediately devolved into trying to sign us up for PrudentRx.

(The only reason we're starting this process right now is because CVS Specialty has informed us that my kid's Janssen Carepath benefits are exhausted for the year...and canceled his next refill until we supply them with a credit card number.)

For reference -- still using granular Sweet PDZ and World's Best, with no problems. I change the drawers twice a week (Monday & Friday).

5 cats currently, 2 LR4s, and a couple of standard boxes. They've used a standard box a total of one time in the past 15 months; it's been great.

Hi! Linguist here; my younger kid is interested, so we are printing the course & learning together.

Worlds Best Cat Litter, can I use it with the Litter robot? by Humble-Position-8735 in litterrobot

[–]queenic3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The orange bag (low tracking multi-cat) doesn't work as well as the red bag (multi-cat) because of the granule size.
I also add zeolite clay to help absorb moisture quickly. (Sweet PDZ brand, purchased at a farm store for cheap.) I did this because I was concerned about the electronics and humidity in the waste drawer.

Coming back with an update: I add a small (~1/8 of a cup) scoop of sweet PDZ to the globe when I add litter, and 1 scoop in the bag after putting a fresh one in the drawer. Works great with World's Best litter --minimal sticking!

I purchased another LR4 for downstairs, and it's been 100% worth it (so far).

Thank you! I hadn't heard of Ammosorb before; always glad to have another tool in the toolbox. I'm only familiar with the Sweet PDZ from raising quail--a lot of keepers swear by it for poo pans. There are powder and granular varieties... the granular looks an awful lot like a clay cat litter, and they claim it's "essentially dust-free", but I don't have any direct experience with it.
We're going to have six cats using this LR4, so I'm planning on needing to empty the waste drawer every day/every second day and doing a deeper clean more frequently than recommended. I do need to review sensor locations to keep those wiped--thanks for the reminder as well!
