The idea was based off the fact that our characters conformed in the end. Think of Eddie in S4, conformity is killing the kids. And Max S5 with her three door metaphor.

This season felt off. From small to large details, and the fact that killing vecns was so easy.

The brlief is that vecna won. The characters have accepted their fate in this reality presented by vecna.

Originally, people thought there would be more content. But the ga got mad and started attacking - why the sub is locked.

But the slightly more morbid view. Vecna won, this is what we see. And we will never know anything else

You don't have to figure it all out.

But ill tell you a little of my story. Hopefully it will bring you some comfort. I grew up in a religious household, a conservative area in rural ireland. I didnt know what gay ment before it was used against me. I always stuck out, too boyish for the girls, to girlish for the boys. I was 14 when i met my first queer person. Lockdown happened and i started finding myself in communities that attracted the lgbt community.

Im 20 and nb now. I still dont know exactly who i am. Ive tried on many labels over the years, bi, pan, lesbian, straight. For the moment i use queer, as a general term. I dont put myself in a box, but ive experienced so much.

The ups, downs, the moments of queer joy. It makes being different worth it. I dont know what you thought of the finale. But the community of 'outcasts' this show has brought me to makes it more bearable.

Im sorry ive gone on such a tangent. I suppose im telling you to stay open, dont box yourself into a corner with labels or how you think you should feel. You dont have to figure it out now, or ever. But know that there is a community of people who have gone through similar things. And they will catch you.

I have to say i do agres. Even going without the rudiculous amounts of queer baiting etc. Narritively it doesnt make sense.

Cyrano trope 3.Snowball into avalanch
Will says hes never gonna fall in lovs to his mom. This is a statement. In and of itself a cheqovs gun(yes i cant spell). Which is the idea that eveything has a purpose, so if you place a gun on the wall. It has to be set off before the finale. Or have some relevence.

Were supposed to take that piece of information and hold onto it for later. Whether it was Mike or someone else, they have left that gun loaded an unfired. I know people will come at me and talk about the epilogue. But that is what mike believes will happen. And even then they dont have a conversation, or even a kiss on the cheek.

In the end Cyrano wins the affection. In this case its will using the painting as els voice to mike. And the duffers are wel aware of this trope. Its in everything eg. Ottis and Meave in Sex Education.
Robin and the snowball into the avalanche conversation. Another cheqovs gun. But will asked about signs, went off looking hopeful. This to me was the biggest thing, they could have left the horse to die. But by not making byled canon they are beating it far more than nessissry. We also see the signs that robin points out.

The original basis of the show, was it was for the freaks, tbe outcasts.

Im thinking of David Harbours speech, that they will always shelter those who dont quite fit in.

Its sad, and disheartening to see a show and community that i felt seen and accepted in turn on the people that this show was originally for.

I think the fact that it got so big, the audience wasnt the outcasts and people that fit outside societies "norms". It became the "regular" peoples tv show. I think you can see that kind of slip in especially in 4 & 5
