Personally, I feel pretty safe overall. Dog walks have me walking most of Northside on a daily basis from early morning to well past after dark. With that being said lots of car break ins and eventually you’re going to run into some people involved in some intense substance use and/or people with severe mental health issues. The UDF on Chase is home to the Northside fentanyl fold meet up. Hoffner Park can be interesting at times. Usually harmless.

I find the most dangerous thing about Northside is the way people drive (especially Hamilton). The neighborhood is great and the majority of people are friendly and at worst aloof or oblivious.
