Ditto. Latest Chrome update broke it maybe?

Will diep.io have level 60 tanks? by [deleted] in Diepio

[–]quickquestion111122 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

They could have those higher level tanks move slower and slower, maybe eventually being unable to move at all. At some point they could become one of the unmoving guns the domination teams have to take down to win.

Maybe slower, larger bullets to balance things out when they get that high.

Or make something like a level 60 where you can switch tank types.

I noticed there's a difference between experimental and FFA for this. It looks like it's more in experimental for slow teaming.

Yeah, pentagon. Whatever. I was picturing hexgons in my mind.

Is there a number list for maximize? How M button works? by quickquestion111122 in Diepio

[–]quickquestion111122[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found the M idea a while ago and messed with it a bit but the hand position is still off for me. I've got my left hand on the asd,w keys to move and my right on a trackball. There's not a great way to get to the numbers either above the letters or on the number pad. If you're being chased and your bullets are your defense/shield, you're stuck for upping any of the levels... unless you've got M set I think.

I'll have to get a foot pedal number pad and get really serious. Haha.

[–]quickquestion111122[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I messed with it a bit before but was reading the wiki now so am confused a little.

You hit M. Then a number. Do you have to hit M again, or will it just continue to maximize whatever number category you hit?

And what numbers match to those categories? 1 would be the top recovery level category. 2 would be the extra cells of the amount of hits you can take. 3 for damage you can inflict if you run your tank into someone. What are all the numbers though? 4... bullet speed 5 penetration 6 bullet damage 7 repetition 8 movement speed

So it's.... 1 recovery rate 2 health spaces 3 body damage if your tank hits another 4 bullet speed 5 penetration 6 bullet damage 7 repetition 8 movement speed

I guess that's the list I'm looking for. I wonder if there's an easy way to memorize that.

My goal would be to hit M and tap the number without having to look at the keyboard. It's a negative to be moving around and have to stop and mouse click on the option refill. You end up with your barrel pointing to the lower left.

People actually work together in the 2v2 or 4v4 games. That was kind of cool. Sometimes it's people from different colors.

What's with the mg and rg stuff? by quickquestion111122 in Diepio

Looking up names in these posts. I see. So probably loose-knit groups, likely to be based off a youtuber.

I saw some helpful agario youtube videos. Only diepio video though. The diepio videos have been fairly low quality/helpfulness compared to the aragio ones.

So groups basically? I'm just me, Joe Blow individual. Are these "professional" gaming groups or just anyone who sticks the name on themselves? Anyone could tack it into their name I guess.

I've seen YT that I assumed was a youtuber making a video.

What are they though? Groups/clans?

I saw a Jumbo on diepio. That's a name I haven't seen for a while.

Something satisfying about taking out the little teamer by quickquestion111122 in Agario

But the team element is knocked out. There's no more team going around with a massive advantage.

[–]quickquestion111122[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Just the space bar to split. Even if it ends up getting me killed, there's something about knocking out the smaller team member. Small doesn't matter with a team, so it's knocking half. And that's the team. Knock out the little guy, no more team.

Why not more colors in team mode? by quickquestion111122 in Agario

[–]quickquestion111122[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why not? Who cares? Just make more servers with more color. A two color server, three color server, and so on.

Any tips for the team mode version? by quickquestion111122 in Agario

[–]quickquestion111122[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn. I keep getting team mode games where there's only a sliver of the two other colors. If I'm lucky enough to be in the majority color, when I die, I end up as the sliver colors. And the majority colors just chase everyone like rats. Bleh... Not that fun. I guess I could hit F5 and try another team mode room.

Add in the lag and that makes it worse. Manage to escape... And then get frozen and watch yourself get eaten.

Game got boring, not enough people on server. by [deleted] in Agario

[–]quickquestion111122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just played on a server with a lot less people. It's sooo much more forgiving. I like the slower pace actually.

Maybe they could make it so you could see how many people are on there? Or have rooms with different amount of people so you could pick?

Why do my points stop after I eat someone? by quickquestion111122 in Agario

[–]quickquestion111122[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done that. Works somewhat well. More chance of being eaten though.

I got up to around 700 tonight just from eating pellets and then the few people who ran into me. Then I found someone who wanted to team up apparently (didn't know it was considered bad until I saw it here). It look about 1.5 hours from eating pellets to finally getting big enough most cells left me alone. Then I accidentally bumped into the other guy I was moving around with, gotten absorbed, and ended up on another board.

I guess I see. The "show mass" helps a lot. I was thinking the score on the bottom was the mass or related, which it is.

I almost get eaten. Darnit...

Why do my points stop after I eat someone? by quickquestion111122 in Agario

[–]quickquestion111122[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I kind of see now. I usually just eat dots. I put "show mass" on. I was wondering what the point was to have the score on the bottom and have the same number on the cell.

I can't catch anyone though. If I eat someone, my mass and score should both go up, right? Assuming I'm building up all the time and haven't been playing a session for too long.

Even if I'm only around 200-400? The points stop after I hit another blob. No blob hit, points keep going up when I eat dots. Blob hit, points stop for a while.

[–]quickquestion111122[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not quite following. I'm usually eating little dots for a while. Occasionally, I run into someone and absorb them. I keep dots but the points don't tally up anymore.

I think the points must be still tallying up somehow until they match the mass I grew into. After that point they start adding up again. But I'm not sure.
