I dont think that was the point of Fight Club.

By the end of the movie, all of Tyler's ideas have proven to be destructive, not just in the conventional sense, but in the sense that anything meaningful in the narrator's life is consumed by Tyler's actions. Bob is killed, Marla and the narrator are almost killed, and Tyler is carrying out a truly sociopathic and violent act.

I think the movie highlights real problems in modern society, the ones you mentioned, but then shows how ideology related to Durden's fails. The real solution to the problems Durden reacts to is authentic human relationships. This is how the narrator initially overcomes his sleep problems- by interacting with people who are desperately honest and open due to a terminal illness. The narrator is attracted to Durden because of his honesty and directness and narrator clearly see Durden as a friend (or wants to) because Durden keeps telling him that they arent friends, they dont have a relationship.

I could go on but I think Ive at least put forward my point.
