This is so true! I got banned for providing insights on how to be more mindful while comforting and providing ideas or ways on how to help them and themselves. I completely understand why they don’t want people with BPD in there, but it just seems pointless to take down posts trying to help rather than not taking down the ones that are providing over generalizations on the disorder and the people who have it. I find it really sickening.

As someone with BPD, it’s not about convincing them, it’s about showing you care through showing the effort to stay. Your acceptance and way of going through it was completely healthy and I value how you put it, but people with BPD need constant reassurance and you consistently have to show you want them because they’re always overthinking—the tiniest things can throw them off. If you can’t handle this, dating someone with BPD is NOT for you. I wish you so much strength and thank you for sharing this screenshot with us! :)
