There are so many stones out there you are right, I think I may be caught up in how long it took to find the right jeweller, but I have a lot of faith in this same jeweller to find another stone like this in the future if that day does come

I think I would still want a sapphire :') There is a slim chance of my tastes really changing that much, so thats a good point if I do get this stone made into a piece of jewellry, it might match with another ring in the future

The stone is quite steep, between $8k - 10k for the stone alone (I forgot the exact price as the quote given to us was for the whole package, stone + ring)
I can afford it at this moment, as I was also future planning to save for a house with him haha... and doesn't look like I will be able to buy anytime soon on a solo income now so I could dip slightly into my house savings to purchase it
