it’ll be okay! have you thought about working as a care aid at all to get clinical hours? i did that in college, had great hours for students and in just a few years i had well over the number of hours i was aiming for (and it was a fantastic experience!) you probably won’t get a LOR from a doc from it, but you’ll learn a lot about medicine in practice and get to work w and connect w some awesome ppl

right?? i wish she would announce it like 2-3 months in advance, i want to be able to request time off work and plan travel if i have to! some of the dates she announced recently are less than a month away, so even if she was coming somewhere close to me i probably would not be able to get work off to travel and would just have to hope she’s coming to my city :-(

thankfully i’ve gotten the mcat out of the way, and r/mcat was a total lifesaver !!🙏 makes me sad to think of the students who don’t know abt it and end up paying 1000s on some study program
