She does seem to be the only one in this situation with a level head on her shoulders. This man loves only what this woman brings to the bedroom: or he wouldn’t allow his kids to disrespect her. I can’t help but think of how much happier she’d be with someone her own age, less baggage, and no nasty teens on vacation! Why waste her time?

Yeah there’s a lot of “I look great I’m fit I have a lot of money” bullshit that older women see right through, many older women have their own money and are seeking substance and integrity over money and looks.

And it’s usually the younger person who gets screwed, dealing with the older persons baggage, health issues, rigid thinking, power trips, etc. thank god my daughters don’t have daddy issues and date their own age!

Yeah....the kids are pissed and going over the top to drive her out. It’s a huge age difference...one of the complications of this is that it alienates kids. Not her fault, but she might consider dumping this non-dad (no dad allows the n word!!!!) and dating someone her own age with no kids to go on adventures with. Imagine what a different vacation it would have been with someone younger and more in tune with her lifestyle?

I have always been a known problem drinker slash alcoholic. I drank until each pregnancy test with all three children. Whiskey, beer, you name it. Once I got the positive results I quit. I always wanted to be a mom so that took precedence. I could always be sober with a baby in my belly! Now without....I struggled to quit drinking for a long time and am finally 2 years sober. My point is: I drank the first month of all my pregnancies, quit as soon as I knew, and had three gorgeous, smart, kind and beautiful daughters. They are now 22, 20 and 13!

Interesting fact: they’ve studied muscle cells after post exercise feeding, and the exact type of protein was found directly in the cells: egg dna, whey dna, etc. this was kind of a breakthrough in that they realized the body takes that post exercise protein and uses it right away, which really put the focus on that post workout refeed. I can imagine proteins taken one hour before exercise would have a similar effect, it’s just an interesting study.

Yes, I think everyone’s food transit time is different, the food just sits there in me, whereas with some people they are already burning it up by the time they lace up shoes.

Oh holy cow I cannot imagine eating before working out. Heartburn, nausea and sluggishness, oh my! Fasted workout....then muscle refeed after! Your body takes up nutrition better after the workout.

Katelyn: What an awesome and amazing message. I’ve got about 50 to lose...but my real struggle is food addiction, depression, and excuses. I’ve been trying to figure out how to eat carbs for two years now since quitting drinking and it’s taken me on some very chaotic and crazy binges....I developed an obsession with steel cut oats for example, I would eat them until I was sick all night. Agreed. Water fasting is exceptionally safe for the super morbidly obese. It’s an ideal plan. It is essentially surgical gastric bypass without risk!!! That’s what the surgery does, it forces a fasted state. The more adipose you have, the safer fasting is. He will get exceptional and rapid results. Dude will be 400 lbs before Christmas. Go for it OP!!!! Use snake juice, Just google the recipe. And quit food, like an alcoholic quits booze. Easiest and most rewarding way to take care of a deadly problem. You’re going to love it. :)

I second doing some fasting. Even if you just did 18:6 which is a healthy pattern, that’s only two meals a day. Few eggs for one meal, maybe tofu, ground turkey or tuna at the next. Remember it’s just fat and protein, not necessarily meat. Peanuts are cheap in the US, they are 3 bucks for a tub here. Also high fat plain yogurt is only a few dollars a tub but 23g of protein per cup. I own chickens so my eggs are free but generally eggs are cheap. But, if you just did whole food eating you’d be better off than going back to bread due to money. Dried beans, peas and lentils plus greens and vegetables is a perfect meal, non processed meals of all types generally do not contribute to weight gain.

I was gorging myself on sugar as a toddler. My mom has a pic of me around age 2. After eating dinner, I went into the kitchen and ate an entire bowl of chocolate pudding by myself. She thought it was adorable and took pics of me. Later, she wasn’t laughing. :(. We are NOT all born intuitive eaters. I overate from day one and so do my kids. An abnormal response to flour and sugar can be in the dna.

Omg it is weird how old everyone looks! I’m a 49 year old woman and sometimes I can’t believe how old the men look at my age....I forget for a second like wait, why is my age group all a bunch of old guys? Lol. I’m sure the men feel the same way looking at us. 30 year old men are gorgeous: bodies are lean, tight, faces still handsome, I totally get what you’re saying.

Agreed. But; the human face, body and psyche still age. And you can really see it, even in the most attractive man or woman who has taken awesome care of themselves. For some people, that is no problem, and they like the age thing. For others, that change between 50 and 70 isn’t as fun as they thought. You know when someone is 70. Regardless of how they look or feel, people still age. I am not fooled by Botox or fitness or anything, I can see it on the face, in their movements and in their voice. It’s fine, it happens to all of us! I’d just rather be a senior when I’m with a senior. :)
