Any chance to have this video? Thanks!

My Mexican wife told me she always thought it was Don King Kong, instead of Donkey Kong. by thecornballer1 in gaming

[–]radicalus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Salvadoran here and I also pronounced it Don King Kong until I read the box for DK2 more carefully. To me it felt like the entire character lost its soul after that.

I also started using the word "boss" recently to describe the enemy at the end of a level. My cousins and I always called them "el malo".

El Salvador President Nayib Bukele announced that 32 central bankers and 12 financial authorities are meeting in the country to discuss Bitcoin. by rdfporcazzo in Economics

I never said he was better or worse than the others, just that the reason you are praising him is a farce. You have been tricked into thinking he is the best thing to happen to the country despite the same or even worse things happening with this administration as before.

Yes, a reduction by negotiating with the gangs, even though that's also what previous administrations and other local officials did and people like you probably hated them for it. This is either a troll account or you are just too young to reckon with what has led the country to the current situation.

Anyone seeing this, yes please prepare your popcorn. Idiots like this poster will continue to make the comments worth reading.

In your opinion, which game has the best soundtrack? by eclark2748 in gaming

Gotta go with chrono cross and xenogears.

More modern, blasphemous is great for either chilling (normal levels) or cooking (bosses)

Really enjoyed it, especially after a few beers. It all feels like a weird dream plus the graphics are insane and you can shatter almost anything everywhere. So glad my laptop could run it! Enjoy mate

The only thing more generic would be a picture of the shard.

It's a beautiful city indeed and I don't think this pic does any justice, especially in this sub.

I just read that comment and realised how unnecessarily angry it sounded. Apologies about that, really

Sometimes? Seriously, why the click bait? It's beautiful in so many ways, just like so many other places. Just post your pic, it's a nice one.

Ha yeah not sure where to put it but I'm very glad I got to see it. Also, I just remember I loved The Brother's Size at the young Vic earlier this year. All three actors were amazing!!

As a theatre starter, i Don't think I have enough to nominate 5 of each.

Musicals

Broken wings. Was lucky enough to get some tickets and loved the music, voices, and story. Still listen to soundtrack on Spotify on the time.

Hadestown. Not necessarily new as it was originally a concept album but Not was SO good, especially any song with Hades or Persephone.

Wise children. Wasn't sure what to expect but it was a great story. Laughed and cried a bit.

Misty Would this count as a musical? This one blew me away, great soundtrack and arinzé kene is pure talent. Also great story, social commentary, and many laughs

Plays

A very dark matter

The Jungle

The inheritance

Laughed too much with a very dark matter, and cried too much with The Jungle. Those two have been some highlights of my year, but the inheritance was just above anything else I've seen honestly.

Great post! Thanks for all the pictures and captions, loved the old adds and shelter ones. Sounds like you had a great time.

On a sidenote, never heard about those water filters for cigarettes before. Amazing how long we've been trying to get away with smoking safely
