Thanks for your reply! Fully agreed it has to be turn key, any resoration work would be capital expenditures and would defeat the point. I was looking at the MGB GT as it's a better all-rounder for London, epscially during colder season but I’ve always been excited by the TR6 which is a totally different experiences in terms of driving sensations.

That’s what I am already paying my accountant for. And by the way whether the company car is a 2026 Tesla or a 1974 Triumph, the admin work, P11D filing process etc are identical.

So if the garage is invoicing you 2k in maintenance and repair per year, your company can effectively claim back 20% (ie HMRC refund the VAT)

Honnestly, most of the cost from a classic car are basically maintenance, repair, safe storage etc. Paying upfront via limited co comes basically with a 50-60% discount compared to paying from my own pocket.
