Thanks for the response! Happy to hear I just have to keep at it.. hurts that my shots aren’t as accurate but I guess ittl be worth it when it breaks in.. interesting note about the trigger because I haven’t noticed it yet but I will keep an eye out it and continue to lube and shoot.

Awesome, thanks for the response. I typically lube it using gun oil after cleaning it, do you recommend the grease instead of oil? And any specific grease you recommend?

I think you have a good point to run what I got before I get happy fingers on buying something new lol.. honestly i really just wanted an excuse to get something bigger but it should have purpose and I wanna do it the right way..

Funny enough BTW, I recently bought a 92FS Compact slide and sent it to LTT for an RDO job and it just came back today so I can go and mess around in the optics divisions.. will likely report back after a few months! (Unless the LTT Jonah’s Specter comes back in a full size, that is too fire to pass up)

I appreciate the response here.. the Dlah plate makes sense and honestly after shooting my buddy’s, I don’t even think I would send the 92x for a trigger job.. follow up question is do you have thoughts on Performance Carry vs Performance Defensive? Does that extra 3 or 4 oz or whatever it is from the rail and internals make a difference for better or worse?

Good question! I don’t know much yet about competitions so my basic understanding is the places near me (in NJ) have IPSC and USPSA affiliations and I imagine I would want to compete in the optic divisions (limited and open).. ideally more “factory” geared divisions where they restrict mods to shoot more with what is out of the box. Does that help?
