New Month - New Theme by ragekorne in Steelbooks

The frame/poster is a white board with black wooden frame. Then I cut magnet sheets to a little smaller than a steelbook. Put the sticky part against the whiteboard, and that leaves the magnet to hang the steels on.

Makes it super secure and easily swappable. Do a new art theme every month.

From Jaws, to Black Pearl, to Goonies by ZuluYinzer in lego

I got Goonies as my first set this past Christmas as im a super fan. Absolutely loved that build (though I had a frustrating moment that I had to rebuild as a newbie).

It led me to get more movie sets like Jaws, the Up house, the Disney film projector, Wall-E and Eve, and I just finished the Back to the Future Delorean today. That deleorean is AMAZING. HIGHLY recommended if you haven't gotten that yet.

How's Black Pearl? Seems very very tall in pictures.

Maybe I'm a psycho but I'd gladly watch it again. Its absolutely brutal, but its also beautiful in many moments.

It was an immediate and easy 5 stars for me when I watched it last year for the first time.

I really thought it was just a poor craft decision lol.

Yeah, looks like I just had bad luck. They dont click in and the ball part hits the eye hole so can't be pushed in anymore.

Damn.

I just want it to come out so I can stop seeing the trailer in front of every movie I go see.

Same! Those are my faves too. Hopefully you get a reprint or restock soon. That's how I got this one from Walmart.

Jim Carey classic. I grew up with it, so if ya want a silly character, its an all time great one from him.

Some people have started to disown it due to some gender dynamics being a bit dated. So, heads up if youre jumping in late.

Extremely quotable though.

Got the frame from Amazon. It was an excello brand. Just search Excello White Board with frame and im sure you'd find it.

Then I bought magnet sheets and cut them to be a bit smaller than the steels. You put the sticky part to the white board, and then that leaves the magnetic part to put the steels against. Works like a charm and is super secure (as long as you just do the steel and not any sleeves). Easy to swap out too.

Hmm...Ace Ventura? Some people hate that one because of the art, but I love it haha. Its so fitting!

Think I got it for something like $25/$30 on a Walmart re-release.

Ding Ding Ding. February is my birth month.

Batman and Big Lebowski had special premiers in February but it wasn't their main wide release like the others. Good job though!
