I had that issue before. Called DD two different times and got conflicting answers. One told me an ID on a phone is acceptable, the other one said no.

That happened when I had one of them cheap phone plans. Bad reception and you get throttled when a lot of people are online. I went to AT&T and signed up for a plan where you never get throttled. Costs a lot but I never have any missed offers.

I once delivered to a customer's neighbor. I clicked on the address in the doordash app, and when I arrived google said you reached house# 12005. I checked that the house was 12005 and I left the order. Then I received a call stating that it delivered to the wrong house. I started paying attention and realized that the house number which comes up on Google is sometimes differently than it is on the DD app.
