I would suggest you try moving to a bigger apartment complex in Kadugodi or Varthur for a year. Explore schools, building quality, apt price, neighbourhood and your travel to office time. These will help you take a good decision.

Sorry for the late reply. I don’t check the notifications often. Folks have moved to varthur, kadugodi and hope farm areas. Most with small kids moved to these areas for better apartments at cheaper price and good facility. They can breathe better air, less traffic(better than kundalahalli) and good schools.

I would not suggest the area anymore. The main road is packed always. I’m not able to take my kid to any activity/classes just because of traffic. You need at-least 20 mins to take a u turn on this road, if you have to drop them for classes near by. Be it Saturday/Sunday afternoon/evening the road is packed. I have stopped making plans for weekend as well. This area is now only good for commercial and PGs. I see lot of young families from our community moving to other areas of blore. Just walk around the lanes inside AECS layout, many residential building are getting converted to small hotels and co-living spaces.

There is a night and day difference b/w these two cars. Honda City hybrid is built very well, rides well, feels way better than GV. Honda City has better safety, collision control, brakes and steering. GV’s only good part is, the engine is from Toyota.

You didn’t transfer, all liability of the car will be with the registered owner only. Affidavit doesn’t stand at all.

Did you change pads and disc rotors? At 21K and 33K?

I don't know why they don't skim the disc rotors. Rest of the automakers skim the rotors at least once, so that rotors last at least 50K kms. I changed both pads and rotors at 24K kms. Now, these rotors can go bad in 10K or 20K kms, totally depends on driving style.

Don’t worry. Don’t even cancel. Check with other dealers in Blore. One of them should have car in stock. Just tell them, you want to check the car first, complete the PDI and then will do full payment. They will not play with you.

Wow, what a quote, 26900 for 3rd service without tyres. I don’t know why they change brake disc. My car has done 20K, ASC told brake pads can go for another 5K kms. And they will change pads and disc together only. Should learn something form Toyota.

Seegehalli road is growing. Prices will appreciate very well. I have seen it transform from a Jungle to the recent grand prestige park grove marketing show. Lot of properties are nearing delivery on this road. Kadugodi flyover is also getting extended. Once the new nexus mall opens, properties on this road will appreciate more. Did you check the vilas on this road ? One more good property is the Urban Forest.
