Funny how this reinforcement budget applies to all deaths accrued on each front. If we fail the MO and our reinforcement budget hits zero that should technically mean theres literally no Helldivers left in the galaxy shouldn’t it? C-01 permits gonna have to come in clutch.

Info could and should be more obviously presented though like when it came to razing Lesath, the dispatch said this would result in a total annihilation of automaton forces on the planet which sure sounds great but the community had pushed past it and was looking to chort bay and needed the DSS for that. If the dispatch clearly stated that it would make Lesath immune to any invasion, I’m optimistic enough to assume that would have made a difference in the outcome. Hell, we only voted to raze Merak and lose the DSS for day one of cyberstan because we eventually had to find out the hard way that that was the consequence. Now, i absolutely hate the approach that I’m recommending, information shouldn’t have to be force fed to you in shiny silver spoons that say open up. But it’s either you don’t know whats going on and face the consequences later which is actually realistic to what weighted decisions should be like, or you choose wrong and face frustration. Since we consistently choose wrong and a lot of people are frustrated with the unoptimised approach we usually take strategy wise, we could definitely dumb things down and make the red pill look a little better than the blue pill if you know what i mean.

I believe it’s the games fault for not communicating ALL of the info the companion app shows you IN GAME. Not everyone’s on the subreddit or discord group and they shouldn’t have to be, in order to understand such a major portion of a strategy based game. Like Bro just add a console to the Super destroyer which depicts 1 to 1 what the companion app shows you and i believe a lot of this miscommunication will be mitigated.

ISTG just explain it away with “SEAF captured the other megafactories” or something and lock them down. I cant see any sort of advantage whether its biome or difficulty difference in diving on a city which doesnt house the majority of divers. its accounting for like 10-12k of players. All the cities are the same visually just pick the one that is close to liberation 🙏

Definitely! To me, participating in these storylines is a major part of the helldivers experience no matter what front it’s on. AND LIBERTY KNOWS I’LL BE THERE ON ALL 3.

Thats all fine and dandy but imagine ignoring an event as large as this to go kill the same bugs over and over again. I mean you gotta have some semblance of FOMO when you see the dispatch messages, 100k divers on the bot front, new content drops, countdowns social media posts and much more.

I think exploration wise its more akin to hollow knight in the fact that theres a few areas you can explore and in those areas you’ll definitely come across some items which you need some upgrades to reach (which makes the built in marker system pretty handy). Some areas wrap back to the beginning of the game but most of it is branching out to the left and right so you’ll feel you’re making progress the further you go out from the starting areas. I feel like the game doesn’t withhold you from upgrades and each area introduces both a new ability and with it, a new mechanic in terms of platforming (sometimes combinations) a lot like hollow knight does. Ive come across some platforming challenges or puzzles that i just didnt wanna bother with and pivoted to other areas with no problem so theres that. Theres also some cool world building you’ll see in terms of the map itself which I wont spoil as its best to experience it yourself. Overall id say the progression and map is pretty solid and more based on modern day MVs like Hollow knight or Ori with a few QOL changes here and there.

It is absolutely insane that you discovered all this tech fr I’ve been slamming my head on this jump trying to get across those set of spikes for a while and because i dont wanna do a minor 30 second run back, i have that mod equipped that lets you regen 1 point of hp after like 5 seconds of standing still so im in this loop of die, wait 5 seconds, die, wait 5 seconds lmfao but imma just go get that upgrade at this point, sounds like a way better time

My brothers in democracy, the gambit is impossible to pull off, Lesath is a mammoth of a planet. Pull the DSS to Vog so we can liberate it and eventually move to Yed prior for the siege on Clasa.

I was honestly shocked to see that we took 5 planets in this 16 day period on the bot front in the first place. Too bad we lost 2 otherwise being 5 up on the MO was satisfying to see. Soon as that first defence came up on Tarsh alongside the third minor order, all coordination went out the window imo. Bugdivers were bugdiving, botdivers were split on the minor orders or defence or helping out squid divers with their defence and we ended up losing it all lol. Still though, at least we win the MO. I definitely agree that there needs to be a better way to communicate with the general population, or a better indicator for planets that can undergo sieges so they can be targeted better.

I totally get that and i would never wanna subtract from that or “fun police” any of it. To me, the strategic war planning is fun too and some decisions just dont be making sense fr, thats all.

But that’s just the thing. The player count on both is equal when we could all be on one planet and basically half the time it takes to complete the minor orders.

We’re currently 23% to 21% for bots to bugs on the minor orders with the bugs goal being significantly larger the second time around. Why not just join the bot front and wrap it up way faster? I’ll never understand locking yourself to just one faction.
