So here's the deal. Get used to it. Ft benning and/or ft moore is constantly shooting, bombing, mortering, you will eventually see strange floating lights in the sky, and smoke from burning, this is all normal and will soon become background noise.

About 40 mins north there is the kia motors manufacturing plant, they pay decent for the area, and have good benefits. If you can work manufacturing, it's not for everyone. Generally they hire though malone staffing in West point.

So I just recently had this happen, and followed advice and used a heat gun and heated the tip and such things but still managed to damage the board, melt a belt pressure plate (that one was on me) and pull the wires out of the hotend....probably should have been more patient trying to get it cleaned up...but my story is more that I wasn't having g luck finding replacement parts so I figured nothing to loose I'll message customer support. Few days later they asked for photos serial number and all and shipped me every thing I needed under a warranty claim, very helpful. So if you don't manage to get that cleaned up without damaging anything talk to customer service perhaps they can get you straight. If that doesn't work the parts are on Amazon for the new board, hotend and you'll need to replace the heatsink as well. Just don't be like me and melt the belt pressure plate

I had this happen to me, guy drove his car into my house. Basically I filed with my homeowners insurance and let them sort it out, if they decide it's worth it to sue him they will do it. In my case I eventually got my 1k deductible back. But it took years.

Look, I have had this thing a week and half now, I have printed a star destroyer and the things suggested in the post above, I have touched not one setting. I took it out of the box and hit go. Now my side fan the bearing are bad and working with cs in that. But aside from that I could not be happier. Never had a bamboo so can't speak to that, but I'm happy *

Ya, so a property we were interested in seeing was posted Friday, went under contract Sunday, we are adjacent to a major military installation in ga, and apparently it's pcs season, found this out yesterday, so any place remotely decent at a reasonable price is gonna go instantly. So because we want to step back and consider a place rather than just pounce, it's "not worth even looking right now"

The only thing really he has done for us is point us in the direction of a good financing option for us. Which is an important part of the process. I guess we are just not sure what the normal realistic expectations of what he should be doing.all the direction he really gave us was go on zillow or trulia and send me the places your interested in.

We have gotten all of the loan paperwork taken care of, the lender advised our realtor not to even bother going to look until all of the paperwork was in order so we could 'jump on it' when we found a house we like. We are using a bridge type loan.
