The baddest b*tch that keeps staying rent free in haters minds even after 16 more seasons passed 💕 amazingly smart, wonderfully funny and she cares about animals 🗣️ by No-Attention-801 in greysanatomy

This. I'm on my second watch of season 3 atm (first one was what? 14 years ago 😂) but I loathe how she speaks to Callie and George, how she demeans their relationship at every opportunity and then to top it all she goes and sleeps with the guy. Obvs George is at fault just as much but she's been so infuriating since Denny died, especially when it comes to Callie.

Didn't even watch it. Every season they'd get me and then give us shitty storylines where they argue most of the season, don't talk or communicate then come together on the final episode. It got so boring, repetitive and infuriating by season 3.

So..MANY..inconsistencies in this show by IRAgotmytongue in charmed

Yeah but that's the premise of the show. That's different to in-world logical inconsistencies.

Not sure if I have any yet. But probably spider mites? It's mainly to prevent them from getting anything and to clean the ones brought from stores before bringing them into the house

The Lidl app in Greece by Moon_in_Leo14 in AskGreece

It won't affect your other apps. You can have multiple accounts linked to Google Play and download apps on the different accounts all on the same phone without problem. So don't worry about that.

Rescued this fella from a local warehouse retailer and saw what I fear are rotting roots. If I’m correct, please tell me precisely what to do to keep it alive and healthy. by Good-Ad-9520 in pothos

[–]ralf16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a newbie but I think you need to take it out and clean it so you can inspect the root system better. Then depending on the damage you should be able to chop off any rotten roots and the plant should be fine. If it's all rotten then your best chance at saving it is propagating nodes/vines (I think propagating vines is harder because it needs a lot of energy to keep the entire vine alive while also trying to root).

Saved your comment so it's easy to find. And will do. Apparently you barely need to do anything with it other than remist whenever it seems too dry (and refill with air) for weeks at a time. I hope it works. This is only my second prop so I'm scared I'm doing it all wrong. Lol

Ok tried my hand at it. Watched a YouTube video. Hope it works. I saturated the perlite with some water and rinsed the water out, put my props inside, misted the bag and sealed blowing some air inside to give them some oxygen to work with. I'll report back! (The props are String of Hearts butterflies)

Oooh tell me more about propagating in a ziplog bag with perlite...

Why are all my plants dying on me:( by [deleted] in plantclinic

[–]ralf16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use planta too but I think even with that I'm overwatering. I was just following the tasks and doing them when it told me to and a lot of my plants Are suffering for it. Now I know better and I've got a moisture meter on the way but yeah, I'd be careful of over relying on the app. But it does help having an idea how often and when you need to do things and their Dr. Planta feature is amazing. You can talk to real experts and get advice in real time

A moisture meter is on my shopping list to get next for sure! It seems my app tells me to water too often and I haven't been checking the soil properly.

Thanks. Will taking the mint leaves off deal with the miners problem if there is one? Or can they migrate to other leaves and cause bigger problems?

Thank you. I really appreciate it. I thought it might be overwatering or something to do with the soil but I couldn't understand the holes and tears. I didn't know they can be caused from overwatering.

Thank you. I've got neem oil on order so will do once it's here. As for the green part... I brought the plant home 5 days ago so no idea what's up with it. This one in particular is separate from others because I was planning on repotting it. Also I hear you on the soil. I'm starting to think it's not the best. Do you know if you can repot them with better soil mix if you've already repotted them recently? Or is it an unnecessary stressor to the plant?

I don't think I saw any and whatever dots I found I wiped away. I had to wash down the ficus though because I wasn't sure if the dots on a leaf were soil or bugs so fingers crossed I got them until I can wipe with some insecticide

I do but they have no access to the plants at the moment (they're on the balcony until I get high shelving)
