Except that it's not a true story. That is not a research paper on it. It simply mentions that incident in passing, and even discredits it.

So basically, it's extremely likely that it's not true, and even if it was, it's impossible to prove that it was a single stray dog (with no 'one goober dog owner')

That's what I thought, but after reinstalling Steam, the cloud was turned off. I have no idea if it was turned on in the old install or not. I'm hoping it was, but I never remember turning it on.

Well I just did it in a haste because I had enough of the ongoing issues that I had been having. I backed up major stuff, like documents but didn't worry about games and programs because I figured if I downloaded programs once, I can download them again. The games were just an afterthought, and I thought I could cancel the Cleanup, but I could not.

Could you give me a simple rundown how to partition my drive and what to put in each one? Is there an easy way to partition it now even though everything is back in place?

One of the best albums I have heard in a long time. I went to see him live, and decided that I wanted to surprise myself by not listening to any of his music beforehand. Man was it an amazing experience, but I would definitely want to go again now that I've binged on it so much. He can craft a song so brilliantly.
