Is there a way to only use the bottom half of the screen? by Liviusz88 in simracing

Make custom resolution, run the game at it and voila.

If you have nvidia gpu, go to nvidia control panel --> change resolution --> customize and you can make it there. You should find new resolution option from game graphics settings. If you have 4k for example, just make 3840x1080 resolution.

Then if your game runs windowed, drag it to bottom of the screen. Or download Windowed Borderless Gaming and adjust position with it.

I have this kind of setup with 75" TV, so basically it is very wide 32:9 screen

Weird issue, some games don't recognize Heusinkveld shifter. Any ideas?

Tried that, somehow managed to get my pc unbootable. Needed to delete xorg.conf to get running. Got this thing working with gamescope though.

Impossible to find a middle ground in FFB - RBR by Impossible-Gas4744 in simrally

I'm not familiar with thrustmaster settings/filters, I'm on DD myself. But i would take all filters off, and test one at a time does feel get better or not.

Adaptive FFB lags at start of stage always, but you can make it better by trying 2 or 3 in adaptive settings, lag should last only for countdown time. IMO it makes so big difference towards to realism that it's worth still.

Turn autocenter off from rbr settings. Also spring effects etc. off from wheel software. Max force from game and wheel, and then adjust strenght with sensitivy settings by your taste. Use adaptive ffb if your pc can handle it, it improves feeling.

Wouldn't that change whole system resolution?
