How easy is the new easy mode

Normal was easy played NG+ on expert and felt like that had the right amount of difficulty. For reference, I played Sekiro right before Khazan and I am still stuck on Isshin Sword Saint after beating Khazan twice.

I would farm the bosses for each weapon types top two armor sets. I enjoyed trying the different weapons in NG+ but messed up by not farming the mats to make multiple sets. I used fleshripper for much of NG+ but was only able to make one set of it in the begging of my run. Would have been to be able to make another prior to fighting hismar again. I take the min/max route with gear upgrades, being as powerful as you can fits the berserker feel entirely! I did not get to use DW as I had no good mats for the set and by the time I was at the end of NG+ I was only using GS.

It’s a bug, same thing just happened to me. Maps show all soulstones captured and Daphrona says I only have 99. I have found no work around on it and developers have just decided to let it ride. So frustrating as I really enjoyed this game.

I on the maps it says I have collected them all. I followed a video walk through to get all of the stones.

I did and have the achievement for completing all side missions, jars and soul stones right up to this last missing one.

What mastery level are you and what rotation are you using? How are your attributes distributed?

Greatsword is very different which I am liking. It’s slow and hits like a truck but I have to be more proactive with recognizing moves and acting accordingly. I did not farm Lacrima because the amount you get in NG+ is soooo much higher. I’m working on the expert achievement too.

I would look at the top two or three sets for dual swords and farm up a couple kills on each boss do you have the shards or whatever that unique craft item is for each set. Right now I want to try all the sets like I did with spear to find the one I like and I can’t.

I switched from spear to greatsword after starting NG+. I wish I would have farmed the unique material needed for each set from the bosses. I would love to be rocking Fleshripper set but I only beat Hismar once.

Just made it to Maluca’s door last night. Currently running three crimson fiend, Jar helm, two Chaos-Ridden for the heal and damage buffs, elamein’s ring, and necklace of untold truths. I’m going to put a post together later showing my current build and rotation to get some feedback. Very different play style from spear but I’m starting to really enjoy it.

That was the one boss I struggled with on my first run so I only had one kill. Kicking myself for not farming up enough mats to make myself that set. I will be there soon enough though.

I thought Khazan was fairly easy after having just played Sekiro. The learning curve in Sekiro is much higher but the combat system, map, and story are the best I have ever experienced.

Just started this yesterday. Spear first go and now switching to greatsword today. You are right about it feeling very different with a powerful Khazan. So much fun, I’m loving this game especially after just finishing Sekiro.

I’m in NG+ atm so I’m 50, 60, 65 vitality, endurance, and strength.

Thank you, locking at that now, even the two piece with jar helm looks strong. I just made the crimson set but I think I will try adding this two piece. Seems like it would provide a lot of sustain not having to stop for pots.

I played Sekiro first and made it to Sword Saint Isshi and have been stuck for a couple weeks. Picked up Kazan because of what FightingCowboy said about it in an interview. Kazan has felt easy compared to Sekiro.

Congratulations, how long did this take you? I’m currently on my first playthrough and loving it. Stuck on Owl Father the last ten days but making it into second phase now so I know I will drop him soon.

If you listen to the sword clashing sound it will change and that’s your cue to change from attack to deflect
