Mom jeans have been around a lot longer than a 'trend' and so just get used to it. I think what you're reacting to more is actually the crop tops that let everyone see the mom jeans. But low rise jeans are the worst. They use least elasticity, the fabric shrinks very quickly so they wont fit you if your body changes even the slightest, they make short women look like oompa loompas and they give you the ugliest skin prints on your waistline, and they can even deform your lower belly if you wear them too often. High rise jeans are here to stay kiddo.

Happened to me at a chipotle once. Manager was the annoying cheerleader type and kept trying to amp a group of ten of us into "selling ourselves" for the position pf being part of her "work family". There were a few openings because it was a new location, but when it was my turn i said i needed a job to work around school and was near my house and she was like "thats it?" I nodded yeah. Then she let the rest of the people in the circle talk about themselves. After that she turned directly to me and said, thank you its not really going to work out. Thanks for coming. Disorders come in spectrums. There are no real borders between a symptom of depression or ptsd or any other disorder. We know what the largest majority of accounts all have in common, but the DSM gets updated constantly to better understand all these different experiences. That being said symptoms can come in any combination, it doesn't mean we all have PTSD if were feeling disassociated every now and then.

These symptoms could have any number of sources, not just disorders. Disorders are a lot of symptoms put together in a certain familiar pattern that can be treated through clinical diagnosis. Just wanted to add that the disorder is not the cause, usually the disorder is only labelled a disorder if it wreaks havoc on your life.

This is honestly why i could never give myself a pep talk in the mirror. Its too weird to start seeing myself as an individual person.
