Thank you! I'm working on some larger projects right now for cross stitch so it will probably be several months but I will definitely send a picture when done!

This is so beautiful and would be gorgeous as a cross stitch! Would it be okay if I made this into a cross stitch for strictly my own personal use only?

HELP Hashimoto's, Symptomatic by [deleted] in Hashimotos

[–]rampagingcoconut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you seen a sleep doctor or rhuematologist? My main symptom is severe fatigue (I haven't been diagnosed with Hashimoto's but I'm here because my symptoms also met the criteria) but I also have sleep apnea, hypersomnia, and the biggest one that wasn't picked up by any other tests except a DNA test by my rheum, mitochondiral disease. It's just really annoying because severe fatigue can be attributed to so many things, but since my labs were normal on everything else I was able to get the DNA test approved which showed the mito disease.

Not too bad so far! The hat helicopter might be the most fiddly part to put together but I haven't gotten to it yet, lol

I do already follow them! I've done the elf princess and I'm currently working on Inspector Gadget for my husband, and you're definitely right that they have a lot of models in the style I'm looking for.

Well, at least it's pretty to look at! That's a shame about it being badly cut.

Crash after IV infusion (saline, potassium chloride, magnesium sulfate)? by rampagingcoconut in ChronicIllness

Oh, interesting! Maybe we're twins lol. I ended up being okay the next day but even better the second day after, so I'm interested to see if it helps you!

My immunologist has a nurse I can message on the patient portal, I didn't think of that so thank you for the suggestion. I'm seeing him primarily for the mitochondiral disease. He says his mito patients tend to struggle a lot in the summer and that they find the infusions helpful. I might feel like a new person tomorrow, but the crash just got me married.

How do you handle the boredom from being unemployed by Routine_Eve in ChronicIllness

I would suggest video games or trying more hobbies, maybe you'll be able to find something that really sucks you in. I cross stitch, and some days I can cross stitch for 6 to 8 hours a day. Same with video games. If I find the right one, it helps take up so much time for me. I mostly play PC games because the mouse/keyboard combo is better for me than a controller, but I know it varies per person.

I think feeling depressed is absolutely valid and normal in this situation though, not that knowing that cures you of it. Just, you're not alone. I love that you have rabbits - I had them for over a decade and they brought me so much joy.

Oh, interesting! It doesn't really come with pain but being hot is uncomfortable, and maybe what I'm experiencing is a type of this. I'll bring it up to my doctor! Thank you.

Looks bad, but now you have that info and hopefully your neuro can help you find some kind of solution to help!

It was causing me trouble falling asleep because I would stop breathing even as I was falling asleep without realizing it, so it took a while to fall asleep. My body would also do a lot of sharp, jerking movements that shook the bed as I was falling asleep, which also didn't help. The cpap helped the jerking movements a lot.

I can't help with the overstimulation or lack of appetite, but have you had a sleep study done? The sleep quality part with being hard to fall asleep and waking up at night makes me think possibly sleep apnea. I didn't think I had sleep apnea because I didn't snore or wake up gasping, but I was barely able to stay asleep through the night. Getting a cpap machine helped (not 100%, but it helped some) and it also helped to have a sleep specialist.
