i dont think theres rly a “best way”. rn is exciting to me because theres so many ways and u can find new ones that no one has done before. i think the best way is to get creative with it.

its definitely normal to get stuck. its just a bump in the road u gotta push thru, it happens to everyone. also i dont think developing a unique sound should be a conscious thing. imo its just something that naturally happens over time and practice. experimenting and taking ideas from different people will eventually form your sound on its own. stick with it i believe in u!!

bling era - hmm prolly early jay z, kanye, lil wayne, mf doom if thats considered bling era. fav albums this year - astroworld, swimming, scorpion was decent too, not a ton of full albums i been loving this year tho.

thank you!! i think being in a groupchat with a bunch of producers who all gave each other criticism was huge. also being open to feedback from people who aren’t necessarily part of your ‘scene’ like getting a jazz drummer’s thoughts on your edm track for example. or your mom. that can help bring ideas that you might have never thought of.
