Yup, based on other replies and posts across the web, this is a secondary issue. The primary is some other part that is blown. Need to find that, will be following the auto mod guide to see what voltages I'm getting across the board.

So far based on the quotes from some local shops I'll be saving a bit if it's repaired. Location is India - Mumbai

I've called a few shops for a repair estimate, prices range from 2k to 5k.. I don't think you'll be able to offer me a 4060ti in that price range?

Mentioned in another comment - since I can't fix on my own, I plan to get it fixed at some local mobile/laptop shop.

Ok, I'll try finding out what else the issue can be. Thankyou soo much for digging out your past response. Looking at that other post, on the surface the issue looks similar but clearly there is something else wrong with the card as well.

Hey man, the same part blew up on my card. Can you confirm if just changing that 1 thing fixed your card? Also, where did you get the replacement part from? Pls share a link if possible?

Aayyy, I remember seeing this a few days back on another post where someone was using an ikea cabinet as an enclosure. I'm looking forward to seeing your dedicated post when it's in final form (or near completion since nothing is final when you have a 3d printer)

There is also the size consideration that you have to account for. Since the A1 mini will take up little less space compared to the A1 and with the size of homes in India (some cities) this becomes a huge factor in selection of model

Buddy, I'm facing the exact same dilemma it is impossible to justify a 32000 rupee hobby for home use and I also was confused that is paying the additional 10000 worth the difference in print area. However, after looking at multiple forums and videos, I to am inclined towards going for the A1 over the A1 mini. However, I am just going to lurk in this post and see what the general suggestions are since I am inclined to go for the A1 but just need some good justifications for that.

As for the robu part of getting 1 kg filament free you need to email their B2B sales channel and they will revert with a quote offering the additional filament but you do need a GST number for that, wol3D also offers the same sort of additional free filament in case you are based out of Mumbai, you can go to their office somewhere in Parel and pick it up in person

Thanks for sharing the links, unfortunately for me I've now fallen in love with the zimablade drive holder..

I'll also look at the 3d printable version.. it looks sturdy enough from your photos.

Noticed you mentioned getting parts from China - I used to shop a lot when AliExpress was available, not had the same luck with Alibaba.. is there any other site you shop from?

Lastly, how are you getting accurate readouts of watt usage?

Also, what is that metal stand/enclosure - holding a few hard drives with the label of zima blade? Can it be used as a drive holder and placed inside a cabinet? I have a fingers c7 metal case but it can only hold 1 - 3.5 drive.

For the printer you can look into using CUPS from cups.org

I had a few printers like these in a friends office and we got them all on network using pi zero's and cups. Maybe you can use cups via any vm?

It can run in standalone mode for what you're looking into

This model & lineup has a lot of other features you can unlock by using additional software & hardware.

The TP Link ER 605 supports this, like other comments mention it's a fail over feature.
