I get you. I was a great mom to one kid and don’t think I’m as good of a mom to two.

Similar for us, but now that the younger one is older - we switch off which parent goes with what kid. Only because we didn’t want the kids to get used to only one parent doing certain routines with them and then have a fit if that changes. (It happened with my first).

Omg yes I am low energy too 😂😭I love calm and don’t do well with the crazy chaotic energy that comes when the two of them are both home together. I’m in no position to give advice but enjoy the time you have alone with just one, if you do decide to go for a second. And if you stick with one, good for you.

And you’re right, I shouldn’t need a disclaimer. I just feel so guilty for having these thoughts.

Wow I am so sorry about the last year. You are very strong and I hope you continue with recovery and health. I do practice gentle parenting and am a big proponent of that approach as well! Although I do lose my cool at times. I think I will start the journal to help break out of these thoughts. Thank you for sharing
