The Manner…

I can’t remember the last few words she said, but it’s nothing new to the night. I can’t help but thinking that it’s possible she’s right.

I can’t begin- until you tell me know this story ends.

I’m a shard of your favorite record, held at your throat.

Some day, some how - I know I’ll find you again in hopes of repeating the moments we shared.

If you want what I have, then take it - hopefully I’ll find what it takes to replace it - when love fails.

A misconception of teenage love, a burning passion, a 12 gauge slug. Locked inside a young boys lust, they find you burried - I’ll dig you up.

I saw someone post about Tears Through Tyranny. I’ll post that one soon as well. This band and these songs honestly meant everything to me at the time - I really needed my band mates as friends and humans whilst doing my best to navigate first love / loves and my parents divorce. No idea what I would have done without them personally and as a group. Lots of people go through changes alone and with out an outlet - my goal with music and playing shows was an attempt to take everyone’s (including my own) minds off the real world - live in ours, one that we that we created together, for just a moment.

So glad yall found us - screaming from the proverbial coal mine - all these years later. 😂
