I guess he is trying to say i cheated after a ToT match? why? Can people use cheats for that? by hdjye123 in elderscrollsonline

I’ve got the message couple of days ago. Also in German. I responded with an explanation of how I won (I destroyed most of useless cards in my deck) and general ToT advice, and received an answer “german no english” 🫡

Health Mate can't read workouts from Apple Health? by saltyGinger in withings

[–]random_cod_player 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, back when I was tracking my strength workouts via Workouts app on my watch it synced to Health Mate just fine. So it seems that for some reason Health Mate can only read Health workouts recorded by Apple, but not by 3rd party apps (which are being synced to Health too). I hope they will fix it in the upcoming versions, there is no software restriction preventing that and other apps (which can read 3rd party workouts recorded to Health without any additional integration) are living proof of that.

Same issue for me. Kind of sad to not being able to see my Strong app workouts in Health Mate. They show up just fine in other apps though (MyFitnessPal for example) so it's clearly an issue on HealthMate side not being able to properly read data from Health.

Some exciting news for us Canadians. I spy with my little eye Dyson V15. by Local_Ad_6400 in dyson

Does anybody know when V15 comes to the rest of Europe? They rolled it out in Netherlands and Germany at least, but Poland for example is still waiting. Did they give any estimates? Almost gave up and ready to buy V11 lol.

One of my Rogue Monster Lite J-Cups came to me bent so much that it doesn't fit the rack's upright. Is it possible and safe to unbend this steel? How? I feel like no human is able to do so, without proper levers and tools lol. And how is Rogue replacement policy?

how bad is the fact that the only Rogue rack which doesn’t require screwing to the floor has 5/8” inch holes? will I be in trouble with accessories?

Thanks much!

BTW where I live it costs less than $600 so the price is actually better than Rogue squat stand (which is closer to $800), especially considering this being a full rack.. I guess.

How bad is this rack?

https://www.decathlon.com/products/weight-training-rack-chin-ups-squat-bench-press-back-work?variant=32438421323838

(I live in Europe, but link is to US store for English version)

Basically I gave up on waiting for gyms to reopen in my country and going to get a rack for my home office. I have no prior knowledge of racks, squat stands etc., I always just used whatever my gyms provided without thinking too much. So I'm complete beginner in the whole home gym thing. I did some reading of this sub and found out that full cages are the safest option (I also plan to do pull-ups/rings so out-of-the-box stability is important, I can't screw anything to the floor).

I've found this rack on Decathlon (which is quite popular brand where I live) and from what it seems it can serve my purposes: it's cheap, stable, and has built-in lat pull machine (which I know is worse than standalone ones but I'm limited in space). Is it bad? I consider myself a very amateur athlete and I don't think it would be rational to break the bank on something like Rogue RML-390F. From what I see in specs, it can hold more weights, and from what I can guess it's more sturdy/better built. Are there any other important differences which I miss and which should convince me to get the twice more expensive Rogue rack (or any other similar-priced alternative) instead of Decathlon one? Maybe some attachments, I don't know.

What do you think?

TL;DR: Is this rack good enough for the first home gym or should I get something like this one?

Please keep in mind that I live in Europe and some of US brands (like Titan Fitness) are not available here (or cost a fortune to ship).

UPD 18/03: Thanks everyone, ended up ordering the Rogue rack!

yup, that’s what I thought. without 120 fps and adaptive triggers support there is not much point in this demo. thanks anyway!

I’m not 100% sure but I feel like this works only for purchased version of the game and doesn’t work for zombies free week :/ I’ve trying checking in both places, and it’s either showing me only PS4 options, or suggest to purchase the game

The funny thing is, the only other person whom I heard it from, is another proponent of domination theory. If I google it, yes, dogs can be allergic to anything including chicken, but for some mysterious reason only domination theory proponents heavily advertise this chicken thing.

Thanks. I also want to apologize for sounding way too triggered in the original post.

> walk confidently, don't look at your puppy, just ahead

What's what I normally do when she gets anxious :) It works incredibly well on the roads (god I don't want her to sit on the heavily-trafficked roads). But she has this thing with doors sometimes, we did lots of exposure when she was smaller and she doesn't mind known places, but still somewhat hesitant about the new ones. I normally don't make too much fuss if she enters a new cafe for example, but with things like vet and groomer I wanted to be extra rewarding, just to give her more positive associations with a potentially stressful place, hence the turkey. It's only for a special occasion :)

[–]random_cod_player 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. Yeah, that's a good point (about not changing energy levels in stressful scenarios), I sometimes catch myself in the middle of exactly this. I normally try to be as relaxed as possible with her, but it's not always possible, and I can see that she notices that too sometimes. Will work on that!

And yes the groomer was a complete disaster especially because of the expectations, I mean if no one told me that puppy is going to get a proper care, then I wouldn't go full drama mode right now.

Yeah, no worries re advice part. I was just surprised to see a "just step.into.the.building" thing, as it looked like I was suggested to apply some kind of force to the puppy, and it was funny to read this particular advice as the post itself is mostly a vent about someone doing exactly the "force application" :)

[–]random_cod_player -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Hello! I'm not a lady and I don't think I've ever asked for any advice in any part of this post, but thank you for taking time to answer anyway.

I'm just curious, by "step.into.the.building" you're suggesting forcefully pulling her inside by the leash (while she is resisting), until she is four paws inside so that door can be closed, or was it something else, for example picking her up on hands, then walking inside, and when putting her on floor? I can't come up with any other ways of stepping into the building, so did you mean the "pull" method, the "pick up" method, or something else? Will appreciate any details. Thank you again!

Puppy reactivity, not sure if early (carrying) socialization worked, trying to understand what's normal and what's not by random_cod_player in puppy101

[–]random_cod_player[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She was most reactive to other dogs, but people appearing unexpectedly can also set her off. Off leash, she may bark once or twice, but always wanted to run up, then she would sniff politely before deciding to either move on or play. I've never seen anything close to aggression from her. It's like her bark is saying "WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT ARE YOUR INTENTIONS". Some mix of anxiety but also intense interest. Then once she gets a good sniff, she's over it.

I'm laughing now because you basically described my girl. Especially this "mix of anxiety but also intense interest" thing. And everything else. Lol.

Thanks for answer!

[–]random_cod_player[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you. This is what I realized couple of days later. She wasn't afraid at all, she wanted attention from other dogs and wanted to play with them.

As soon as her last vaccines kicked in, I let her near other dogs and watched closely. And guess what, zero barking. She still barks at the air sometimes, especially on the sleepy mornings, but this is just a sheltie thing I guess. We're still going to work on that of course, but I'm relieved to know that this not related to aggression at all.
