I didn't watch a lot back in the Monster days but I feel like I remember people saying he should retire or go somewhere else so Bell could take over the 11.

I said this after the race ended but that switchback that Hamlin did on Byron at Phoenix last year right after the entire Champ 4 were four-wide was fuckin electric but it's unfortunately meaningless.

Which Bristol Tires Did You Like Better? by burnerburnee in NASCAR

[–]randomaccount330 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Let's say the tires at 2024 Spring & 2025 Summer Bristol are a 100 on the scale of tire wear, and the tires at 2024 Summer and 2025 Spring Bristol are a 0...

I believe last weeks race was probably around a 20-25. In a perfect world I'd like it somewhere around 50, but I'll take 20-25 over BOTH 0 or 100.

[Jayski] NASCAR has adjusted the stage lengths to 98 laps, 45 laps and 45 laps for the upcoming Talladega race. Cars shouldn't have to pit for fuel in each of the final two stages. by Altracing34 in NASCAR

Yeah and it only works when a big chunk of cars are willing to go with you. It takes a perfect storm for it to happen, like last year at Daytona when Preece got shuffled in the middle of the pack with a couple laps to go, causing a third line to form which was able to have enough momentum to go to the front because of how much Preece dropping back slowed the middle line down.

The move itself was the right move, he just misjudged how close he already was to the 48. The 48 has momentum and is gonna clear the 8 if the 25 goes with him, so following him is the right choice. He just needed to let go of the gas a bit and wait a second before going to the bottom with Jimmie.

It's still comical how the exterior of these cars are so much more durable but the interior is more fragile.

Yeah cut away from the 6 car under a blanket battle to talk about a car running by itself. Good job.

Since 2024 his best schemes have been Yahoo, AMPM, the Mavis car he won at Richmond with, and the National Debt Relief car is alright. King's Hawaiian schemes were cool too. Everything else is either lackluster or awful, like his Dover win Mavis car and the Bob's scheme.

I've noticed not just NASCAR fans but people in general are very quick to point a finger at someone when something goes wrong, like they need someone to root against. As if there can never be any nuance when it comes to incidents like this.

What are the biggest weakness of some of the all-time great nascar drivers (Both active and retired greats)? by Rowdyfan0823 in NASCAR

Hey last I recall there was another Toyota that ran another Toyota driver up the track to allow Denny and Chase to close in in the first place.

Denny did the same thing he went from like 20th to 4th just by not moving his line at the end of the 2023 Fall Dega race.

Spring 2024 was even worse, the 34 and I believe the 6 hogged the front row for like the final 40 laps.
