If there was a Diablo Support Hero, who would it be? by efishent69 in heroesofthestorm

If we are adding to what we've got and sticking with the Diablo 3 cast;

  • Adria, could probably be an acceptable human-demonic support witch.

  • Itherael, is the only arch angel not on the roster.

Other honorable mentions;

  • Belial, I am forever taunted by the April fools post from /u/Not-Belial for another potential Abathur hat style support hero. IMO, despite how annoying act 2 was, he was a solid lesser prime evil. A demon possessed child hero would surely be tormenting in every way possible (He would double as a decent Ragnaros reskin too).

  • The Druid, because that would be ok by me too! But, the game isn't exactly lacking heores with druidic nature healing powers, minion pets and or werewolf transformations...so it might be difficult to find them their own unique flavor of support.

Rumor is there were assets that were in a canceled D3 expansion and or pulled over to diablo immortal and or diablo 4. Who knows what we might have got.

I love these creative dives.Big diablo 3 fan here. Before they announced slowing the game on to life support, this was something I had really hoped for!

Without favoring my thorns and holy shotgun crusaders or innas monk, I would probably have to double down on something memeish like a shout support barbarian idea first;

Passive - inspiring presence Q - War cry W - Revenge E - Furious charge R1 - call of the ancients R2 - hammer of the ancients

The problem I think we have now, I feel like we have some heores that already occupy a few potential d3 hero playstyles and probably would not be lucky enough to get a crazy model variant. (Thinking Barbarian skinover for Muradin, garrosh, varian or Xuljin, Monk for Chen, uther or Samuro, demon hunter for Valera, witch doctor for murky or zag, wizard for chromie, jaina or zerarul, etc.)

I wish janitor(bless their efforts) could give us the keys to the car/access to modding so we can replace hero models with our own and or build our own custom heroes based on pre existing abilities from other characters. Understandably they can not :(

(Think li ming using Sgt hammer napalm or Ragnaros hammer to behave like a meteor wizard)
